My friend has a '94 3000GT VR4 and I consider him to be a very competent driver. He had practiced launching the car and was very comfortable running through the gears before we ever raced. We ran the cars when both were stock and there was almost no difference off the line and after second gear he had 1/2 car length on me. After 3rd I was a full car length in front of him and pulling. They are nice cars and very quick but I don't think there is much of a difference between them, all things being equal. Now that I'm at stage III I spank him silly....
